Women’s Work Wear
The Clothes Silo is a women’s thrift boutique and a major empowerment program of WHEAT. Since 1985, our program has helped women on their path to financial stability. Referred by local agencies, participants can shop for clothing at no cost as they prepare for jobs, interviews and everyday life.
This work is made possible by the generosity of donors, both those who give financially and those who provide new and gently used women’s clothing, ensuring we can continue to offer essential resources and support to every woman we serve.
Support Advocacy Efforts
WHEAT’s advocacy efforts focus on addressing the root causes of hunger and poverty. Through education and engagement, we empower individuals to become advocates for meaningful change in their communities.
Donor support helps us expand this work – mobilizing advocates and advancing solutions that break the cycle of poverty.
Support Fair Trade
WHEAT’s Fair Trade Store is an ethical retail shop and a major empowerment program of WHEAT. Through partnerships with artisan groups and small-scale farmers, we bring fairly traded goods to our community while creating meaningful opportunities for artisans worldwide.
With the support of generous donors, we are able to expand this work beyond what sales alone can achieve – reaching more artisans, strengthening communities and continuing the fight against global hunger and poverty through fair and ethical trade.
